For a better flight

Before leaving on a trip, it is possible to feel already…elsewhere and therefore want to experience something exotic. However, not being the dishes you are used to, you don't know how your stomach will react during a flight. Better to avoid nasty surprises altogether as the risk of indigestion increases in flight. The air inside the plane is pressurized, which expands the gases in the stomach.

Beyond the practicality of traveling with lighter luggage, always pay attention to the weight of the bags you take on board. Exceeding the permitted weight will leave you with a choice: pay for the difference or not pay. Always try to take the bare necessities, leaving room for souvenirs, and remember that many things, such as shampoo or deodorant, can be purchased duty-free or directly at your destination.

Safety first! Securely lock your suitcase using a specific padlock or code lock if present. Avoid having your bag wrapped in cellophane; for environmental reasons, it would be a nightmare to reopen it if you forgot something inside.

Airlines always try to optimize attendance on board their flights, especially for low-cost flights. However, to avoid nasty surprises, always check in online as soon as possible to be 100% sure of getting on the plane.

Inform yourself well about the confirmation of your aircraft. Always choose the seat that best suits your needs. For example, you may need more legroom, be closer to the toilet, or be close to the window to admire the view!

It is practical to group airline tickets, documents, and maybe some change in a purse. However, doing so would mean adding a "piece" to your load to manage, which, compared to a backpack, would be more challenging to locate in case of loss (or theft).

Remember that the limit for liquids you can carry in your hand luggage is 100ml. Remember that, as there are no specific measurements, any container with a capacity greater than 100ml will be confiscated, even if just filled. The same thing goes for shampoo, perfume, and any other liquid.

Don't follow the crowd at the airport; it often leads to traffic jams, queues, and wasted time. Unfortunately, this is often the case with security checks: people almost always go to the closest stalls, leaving out the outer ones that are typically less crowded.

After the security checks, you can finally relax. There are plenty of shops in the larger airports, some of which are very large. There is, therefore, the risk of getting lost and not seeing the passing of time. This is one of the causes of flight delays, waiting for the last passengers!

The airport is one of the least clean places in the world, given the many people who visit it daily. It is, therefore, a place where germs and bacteria find fertile ground in many areas (for example, the trays used during security checks). So sanitizing your hands often will protect your health and your holiday!
